PRUNE
With a rustic appearance, similar to the “pezzotti”, traditional rugs of the Valtellina region, Northern Italy, Prune presents a distinctive, ecological spirit. In this carpet, the patches, the rags, and the old fabrics used in the original “pezzotto” give way to the exclusive yarn obtained from recycled PET, becoming an innovative proposal and a fine complement for the outdoors.

The idea of departure is to the geometric texture, created by the juxtaposition of various tones of uncontaminated and unbleached wools, coloured field brightened by natural but refined tints: helichrysum, cadmium red, rosewood, jade and water.

Originally created on a semi-mechanical loom, the pure wool rugs revisited by Amini are hand knotted and feature a two-level carved pile.
